These girls who are seven in number are all from grade 8, who are highly enthusiastic and eager to
use their creativity in designing a solar cooker. They vary in the age groups between 12 to 14.

Learning Objectives
To stimulate and create an awareness among students about the importance of solar cooking.
To know that heat can be radiated through vaccum and that is how heat from sun reaches the earth.
Constructs models to illustrate scientific concepts and applications.
To compare and conclude about the climate that is most suitable for efficient cooking using solar cookers.
