These girls who are seven in number are all from grade 8, who are highly enthusiastic and eager to
use their creativity in designing a solar cooker. They vary in the age groups between 12 to 14.

Learning Objectives
  • To stimulate and create an awareness among students about the importance of solar cooking.
  • To know that heat can be radiated through vaccum and that is how heat from sun reaches the earth.
  • Constructs models to illustrate scientific concepts and applications.
  • To compare and conclude about the climate that is most suitable for efficient cooking using solar cookers.
